HOW TO BOOK HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

1. Type in your destination city or town on our booking system to the left of this page.
2. Select the check-in date.
3. Select the check-out date.
4. Choose the number of adults and children.
5. Select a hotel rating (from 1 crown to 5 crowns – crowns are the equivalent to the star ratings of most hotels) or alternatively leave this blank for a general search.
6. If you have a specific hotel in mind, type in the name in the final block.
7. Click ‘Search for Hotels’ to view the list of available hotels and guest houses.

BOOKING SYSTEM FUNCTIONALITY

Our special booking software allows you do the following:

• View a list of available hotels tailed to your needs.
• View a detailed Google map of where the accommodation is situated.
• View the distance from the closest airport to your chosen hotel.
• View specific details such as hotel rates, room types, images, amenities, detailed facilities available as well as general terms and conditions for booking the given accommodation.

HOTEL RATINGS

Each hotel featured at SA Flights has been given a rating from 1 star to 5 stars (or crowns). This gives travellers an indication of the class of the hotel and what to expect – the higher the rating, the more facilities and additional services on offer.

HOW DOES THE HOTEL RATING SYSTEM WORK?

Most hotels include the facilities mentioned below. It is best to double check with the hotel in question and confirm whether they have these facilities. Please note that the following facilities/services are only a guideline for travellers and each hotel will offer something different:

1 STAR – all rooms with show/WC or bath tub/WC, daily room cleaning, rooms have a colour TV with remote control, table and chair, body wash or soap, reception service, fax service at reception, breakfast, public telephone, beverages on offer etc.

2 STARS – 1-star offerings as well as the following: breakfast buffet, reading light, shower gel or bath essence, bath towels, shelves of linen, certain toiletries, accepts credit cards etc.

3 STARS – 2-star offerings as well as the following: 14 hour reception service (accessible by phone 24 hours), bilingual staff, luggage service, telephone in each room, internet facilities/access, heating in bathroom (as well as hairdryer and cleansing tissues), mirror, luggage storage in room, ironing/laundry service, additional bedding etc.

4 STARS – 3-star offerings as well as the following: 18 hour reception service (accessible by phone 24 hours), lobby with seats, beverage services, buffet breakfast, breakfast by room service, minibar or beverage room service, chair or couch in room with side table, bath robe/slippers, cosmetics and toiletries, internet access, á la carte restaurant etc.

5 STARS – 4-star offerings as well as the following: 24 hour reception, multi-lingual staff, doorman/valet parking, concierge, spacious reception with beverage service, fresh flowers or present in each room for guests, personal care items, internet in room, safe in room, ironing/laundry service etc.
